Premio Internacional Humor Sapiens

Con el propósito de reconocer y estimular el estudio, la reflexión y la promoción del humor como fenómeno cultural, artístico, social y humano, nace el Premio Internacional Humor Sapiens.

Este galardón anual es otorgado por el sitio web Humor Sapiens, plataforma de referencia en el ámbito del pensamiento humorístico desde su fundación en 2013. El premio busca destacar la labor de quienes, desde la investigación, la docencia, la crítica, la creación o la gestión cultural, contribuyen significativamente a la comprensión y valorización del humor en sus múltiples dimensiones.

Cada año, el Premio Internacional Humor Sapiens se concede en dos categorías:

a) Persona destacada: a un estudioso(a), investigador(a), pensador(a) o promotor(a) del humor.

b) Institución destacada: a una organización, centro o entidad que impulse el conocimiento, la práctica o la difusión del humor con fines culturales, artísticos, educativos o sociales.

Con este premio, Humor Sapiens reafirma su vocación de ser un puente entre la risa y el pensamiento, entre la diversión y la sabiduría, entre el humor y su estudio riguroso.

Invitamos a toda la comunidad del humor reflexivo y cultural a enviarnos propuestas argumentadas de candidatos (personas e instituciones) que consideren merecedores del reconocimiento.

Incluye en el cuerpo del mensaje:

1. Nombre completo de la persona o institución postulada
2. Breve reseña biográfica o institucional (máx. 300 palabras)
3. Razones por las que consideras que merece el premio

La recepción de postulaciones estará abierta hasta el: 15 de octubre, 2025

El comité de Humor Sapiens evaluará todas las propuestas y también se reserva la posibilidad de considerar candidaturas sugeridas directamente por la organización.

Los ganadores serán anunciados oficialmente en el Boletín de noviembre de 2025 que se publica el 31 de octubre y en nuestro sitio web humorsapins.com ese mismo día. Y recibirán un trofeo exclusivo y un diploma honorífico.

International Humor Sapiens Award

With the purpose of recognizing and encouraging the study, reflection, and promotion of humor as a cultural, artistic, social, and human phenomenon, the Humor Sapiens International Award was created.

This annual award is granted by the website Humor Sapiens, a reference platform in the field of humor studies since its foundation in 2013. The prize seeks to highlight the work of those who, through research, teaching, criticism, creation, or cultural management, contribute significantly to the understanding and appreciation of humor in its many dimensions.

Each year, the Humor Sapiens International Award is presented in two categories:

a) Outstanding Individual: to a scholar, researcher, thinker, or promoter of humor.

b) Outstanding Institution: to an organization, center, or entity that fosters the knowledge, practice, or dissemination of humor for cultural, artistic, educational, or social purposes.

Through this award, Humor Sapiens reaffirms its vocation to be a bridge between laughter and thought, between fun and wisdom, between humor and its rigorous study.

We invite the entire community engaged with reflective and cultural humor to send us well-argued nominations of candidates (both individuals and institutions) deemed worthy of this recognition.

Include the following in the body of the message:

• Full name of the person or institution being nominated

• Brief biographical or institutional summary (max. 300 words)

• Reasons why you believe they deserve the award

• (Optional) Link to website, publications, works, or relevant projects

Nominations will be accepted until: October 15, 2025

The Humor Sapiens committee will evaluate all proposals and also reserves the right to consider candidates suggested directly by the organization.

Winners will be officially announced in the November 2025 Newsletter, published on October 31, and on our website humorsapiens.com that same day. They will receive an exclusive trophy and an honorary diploma.
